YOUNG defender Jerome Binnom-Williams has joined Burton Albion on a season-long loan from Crystal Place.
The 20 year old’s favourite position is left back but he can also play as a central defender.
He signed a new two-year deal at Palace this summer but is hoping to come to the Pirelli Stadium and get some League One experience.
He spent much of last season on loan at Albion’s promotion rivals Southend United but did not feature against the Brewers in the promotion clash at the Pirelli as Albion closed in on the title.
The 6ft 2” defender impressed at Southend with his energy and pace.
He says: “I’m pleased to come to Burton Albion and hopefully get some game time, which is what I need. Watching them last season and seeing them winning the league I could tell it was a good club.”
