TALENTED winger Zeli Ismail has re-joined Burton Albion on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The 21-year-old who impressed in the pre-season fixture against Premiership Leicester City on Tuesday night, will be with the Brewers until January.
Ismail quickly became a fans’ favourite after his attacking flair and an eye for a goal made him a key feature of Albion’s push for the play offs under Gary Rowett.
He first joined the Brewers on loan in January 2014 but injury interrupted a fine run of form before Albion entered the post-season games.
Rowett had hoped to bring Ismail back to the Pirelli Stadium last season but instead he was loaned out to League One Notts County.
But he has remained on the Brewers radar and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has now added him to his squad ahead of the start of the League One season on August 8.
Ismail said: “I’m delighted to be back. When Wolves told me that Burton Albion were interested, from that moment I was really happy to come here, get the deal sorted and get cracking.
“I’m here to try and get in the team, to put in good performances and, hopefully, I can impress.”
