OUR 2015/16 FIXTURES HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

Burton Albion will kick off their 2015/16 Sky Bet League 1 campaign at home to Scunthorpe United after the fixtures for the new football season were released this morning.

Albion will entertain Scunthorpe at the Pirelli Stadium on the provisional date of Saturday, 8th August, before travelling to Oakwell to face Barnsley in their first league away game just seven days later on Saturday, 15th August.

The Brewers will get their first chance to taste of local derby action on Saturday 24th October when they take on Port Vale at the Pirelli Stadium. The reverse fixture  will take place on Saturday March 19th. Supporters are reminded that these fixture dates are subject to change.

The Club's Christmas schedule will see Burton heading to Valley Parade to face Bradford City on Boxing Day before back-to-back home games against Swindon on Sunday 28th December and Blackpool on Saturday 2nd January.

An action-packed campaign will come to a conclusion with an away fixture against Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, May 8th.

“We know all the games will be difficult but we want to be as competitive as possible from the start and we will look to be well prepared and ready for the season ahead"

Ben Robinson, chairman added "We are looking forward to another exciting season with some big games that I'm sure our fans won't want to miss.

“There's still time to be buy season tickets, offering some of the best value prices in League One, or you can buy tickets in advance for all games, saving £2 on the on-the-day admission prices."
