What is Hasselbaink up to today?

With the Brewers playing live in front of the Sky Sports cameras on Monday night against Stevenage (7.45pm kick-off), it leaves Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink doing nothing with a vacant Saturday…Or does it?

It would seem pretty unusual to not do anything on the day you’re not playing, especially when you have to play three of the top eight teams in league 2 before the season concludes.

It turns out that Hasselbaink will be going to watch a game this weekend.

“Yes I am going to watch a game as normal.”

Who is he going to watch? All premier league and championship teams are on an international break so who could the gaffer have his eye on? The opponent… yes, that would make sense.

“Saturday I will go to watch a game in our division.

“I think it will be somebody who we still have to play.”

The old cliché returns whenever the Brewers boss is questioned on the league table or other results around his team. He insists that he never has a look at the table, or results for that matter but he does have a little birdie in his ear.

“People will tell me.”
