DESPITE a great first year under Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Burton Albion are still looking no further than the next game.
Reflecting on the last 12 months, assistant manger David Oldfield says that the Gaffer will be sticking to the philosophy that has worked so well so far.
“We have had some fantastic support from the chairman downwards and from all the supporters," he says.
"It’s difficult to reflect in football as everything moves so fast and you are onto the next game but I do feel that the Peterborough game showed us that we have to be on our mettle every time we play.
"The mantra of being a collective group is so important to us. I find myself repeating the same things far too often but we really do take it a game at a time and move onto the next one. It has been a fantastic year but it really is just about moving onto the next match."
