MANAGER'S VERDICT: BREWERS V PETERBOROUGH

7 November 2015

JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink says an under par Burton Albion were second best against Peterborough.

Speaking after the 3-0 FA Cup defeat The Gaffer said he was "very disappointed".

"We were second best in all areas. We started well in the first half with some bright play but we couldn't sustain that.

"When we lost the ball we didn't react as we always do. We looked second best and they deserved their win.

We look at the group I don't want to single out players or areas. Overall it was below par.

"When you are on top you have to take your chances but we couldn't find the net. But then you still have to do the work without the ball and we looked fragile and naive. And one thing we haven't been before is naive. It was not good."
