TIMMY Thiele’s pace has the potential to scare League One defences, says Brewers boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.
The German striker set up the winning goal against Wigan with a surging run and the Gaffer wants to see more of that.
“Timmy has some very good assets and if he plays on his assets, on his strengths, then he can do what he did against Wigan, game after game after game. If he does that he will give a lot of defences a lot of problems.
“He needs to believe just a little bit more and he needs a goal. After setting up the Wigan goal he needs to embrace that moment and use it in the right way and keep on going.
"He’s lightning quick and needs to play on that pace. He also needs to have the guts to do it – to not be afraid to fail.
“The more we talk about goals the more he will become nervous. I tell him to just play, to get in the box and make sure he is there to miss.”
