ALBION PLAYERS VISIT AREAS OF THE COMMUNITY

14 October 2015

Burton Albion stars Darius Charles, Dean Lyness and Matty Palmer have all been out in the community this past week.

It began with a football session with year 7-9 girls from William Allit High School where Darius Charles and Dean Lyness took the time to show the girls some skills of their own before watching the pupils in small-sided games.

Today, academy product Matty Palmer visited Victoria Primary School in one of Burton Albion Community Trust’s ‘Respect Burton’ programme.

The children had prepared questions to ask Palmer in order to find out what it is like to be a professional footballer.

Shortly after, he took the time to sign each child’s piece of work.
