19 October 2015

BREWERS manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink visited John Taylor High School to open a new facility today.

Joined by Burton Albion Community Trust chairman John Jackson, the Gaffer was welcomed by headmaster Mike Donoghue  at the Barton Under Needwood School.

Hasselbaink cut the ribbon to officially open the new classrooms and took a tour of the building before meeting some of the pupils who will make use of the facility.

He said: "I know that John Taylor has an excellent reputation, which shows in its exam results.

"The school also understands the importance of sport, which not only keeps us healthy but also teaches us important life lessons.

"That’s something that we all know at Burton Albion.

"I’m sure this new facility will help even more students aspire to excellence in their studies."
