HASSELBAINK NOT TAKING CREWE ALEXANDRA LIGHTLY

20 October 2015

JIMMY Floyd Hasselbaink spoke to the press yesterday morning ahead of today’s clash with Crewe Alexandra.

Crewe have struggled so far this season as they prop up the Sky Bet League One table with four losses out of their last five games.

Putting all league table positions aside, the Brewers boss isn’t taking the game lightly and admits that Crewe are a better team than a lot of people think.

Hasselbaink said “Crewe is not an easy game."

He went on to add “They are a lot better than people think.”

Steve Davis’ men haven’t struggled to score goals so far this season, they just struggle to keep them out at the other end. The Railway Men have only failed to score in two of their defeats during this campaign.

“They are a very good side going forward but they are a side that pass the ball in tight areas.” Said Hasselbaink.

“We are going to tactically focus on Crewe. You have to do that and respect them.

“We have to know how they are going to play.”
