ISMAIL TARGETS WALSALL FOR COMEBACK

8 October 2015

WINGER Zeli Ismail could be back in action for the Brewers in time for the Walsall game on Saturday.

The on-loan winger hasn’t played since picking up a pre-season injury and has been receiving treatment back at his parent club Wolves.

But Ismail is making good progress and might provide at least an option on the bench for Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.

The Gaffer says: “Zeli had a good training session this week. In a perfect world I would have wanted him on the bench against Southend but it was not to be. But he will be ready for selection on Saturday.

“We have to be careful with him and give him some room. As eager as I am to get him involved I have to be careful. He’s not had football for a while and wants to be on the pitch.”
