SAM Hornby has joined National League North (formerly conference north) side Brackley Town on an initial one-month loan.

Brackley Town Football Club are based in Brackley, England, who play their home games at St. James Park.

They National League team are managed by former Cambridge United man Kevin Wilkin. He previously managed Nuneaton Town for eight years from 2006-2014.

Gavin Ward, goalkeeping coach said “Sam (Hornby) has been training really hard so it is great to get him out and playing games.

“It is great that he will be getting regular football at a good level too.

“Brackley are a well-run club and have a very experienced manager in Kevin Wilkin.”

The 20-year-old signed a one-year deal with the Brewers at the beginning of the season.
