BINNOM-WILLIAMS SAID SHEFFIELD UNITED WASN'T ONE OF THE BEST GAMES HE HAS HAD

30 September 2015

Last time out, it was a tough game against Sheffield United, a game in which Jerome struggled to find himself which resulted in a tactical substitution meaning the youngster was rested at half time.

“Sheffield United wasn’t one of the best games I had.” Said Binnom-Williams.

“It was a ragged game in the first half and the obviously the gaffer took me off at half time but that happens in football.

“One minute you can be up then the next minute you can be down but you just have to deal with it.

“The gaffer didn’t tell me why he took me off, he just said he is making a change but the boys went out there and did well and I was happy for them to get the point.

“I have just got to kick on and hopefully get a few more games and get back into the side.

“I will do what I do best, come off the bench and help the boys out.

“No matter what, you still have to work for the boys and keep on running.”

Working with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is something only youngsters could dream about. An ex-premier league striker with a score ratio of 1 goal every two games.

“It is really good working with him.

“He has played the game so he knows everything about it.

“He gets us prepared right for the game in training.

“His sessions are very good.

“He is a really good manager and I am happy to work with him.”

So what are his aims for this season? It comes to no surprise that the youngster wants to kick on at his parent club Crystal Palace and get some game times under his belt.

“I just want to do well, get my name in the Palace books and do well for them and get a few games.

“If not, I want to stay with Burton, kick on and the boys to get promotion and do well.”
