Staff from Burton’s Queen’s Hospital dropped into the Pirelli Stadium to offer members of BACT's Golden Goal over 50 group the opportunity to have a Know Your Numbers blood pressure check up.
It wasn’t just members of the over 50’s Golden Goal group having there blood pressure check with Matron Ann Parker the Burton Hospitals staff were joined by Lucas Akins, Tom Naylor and Jon McLaughlin from Burton Albion’s first team who had there blood pressures recorded and luckily for them the figures were all positive.Know your Numbers! is Blood Pressure UK's flagship awareness campaign. It encourages adults across the UK to know their blood pressure numbers and take the necessary action to reach and maintain a healthy blood pressure.
