HASSELBAINK IS PREPARED FOR A "TOTALLY DIFFERENT GAME" AGAINST SWINDON

18 September 2015

BURTON Albion travel to the County Ground to face Swindon Town TOMORROW, 3PM.

After picking up all three points last time out against Rochdale, the Brewers will be looking to build on their performance despite Hasselbaink knowing Swindon will be a different kind of challenge.

“Swindon will be a totally different game.

“They play a totally different style and they are a good team It will be a challenge for us.

“How can we adapt? Can we play our game and dictate ourselves?

“It will be a challenge and we need to prepare and make sure we are right and make sure we have the right points spot on.”

3 wins, 2 draws and 2 defeats in their opening seven games isn’t bad going in League 1. Swindon also reached the play offs last season so Hasselbaink knows he will have to bring his best team to give the home side some difficulties.

“They are a side knowing what they want, knowing what they can do and knowing which direction they want to go. That is important to know.

“They are always manipulating the ball and situations in the right way to put the opposition in difficulties.

“We have to bring our best and try to bring them into difficulties.

“I am sure that we have to concentrate on us and how we are going to do things to make sure we are right and organised.”

So far, there hasn’t been a runaway team in the league which has left it wide open for all 24 teams to compete for the 3 points in every game.

“I think everybody can beat everybody.” Said the Brewers boss.

“It isn’t only in this league. You have to prepare well whoever is in front of you.

“You can’t think ‘they are a small club’ or ‘we don’t have to prepare well’ you can’t do that.

“You will get hurt and be punished if you do that.”
