HASSELBAINK LOOKING TO MAKE THE FANS PROUD AT CHESTERFIELD

26 September 2015

THE Brewers will take on Chesterfield this afternoon, 3PM in the ninth game of Sky Bet League One.

Hasselbaink’s side currently sit top of the table, one point clear of Gillingham and Walsall, a place no Burton Albion fan thought they would see their side.

The Brewers have met the Spireites ten times over the past six seasons with both sides winning four and sharing the spoils twice.

“Chesterfield are a good team.” Said the Brewers boss.

“They have got some good individual players in the wide areas.

“They try to pass the ball from the back and try to get an overload in the middle of the field.

“They have done really well last year coming up from league two.

“It is going to be a challenge for us again but all games are difficult in their own right.

“It don’t be any different on Saturday, we just have to make sure we are right ad ready for what will come.

“It will be another challenge for us to be able to play our game and to take the game to Chesterfield.”

It seems that the Dutchman has had a game plan going into every one of the previous eight league games so far this season, of which most of them have been executed to perfection hence the league standings.

“I think you need to go there with a plan.

“You need to think about how you cannot let them get into their flow.

“How can we utilise us to get into our flow?

“We will bring our fans with us so at the end of the day we have to make our fans and families proud.

“We will play at our tempo and as we always try to take the game to Chesterfield.”
