BURTON Albion may not set targets but the team aims to win every match, says defender Shane Cansdell-Sherriff.
The Brewers defender said: “I’m not surprised by our good start but equally I wasn’t expecting it. You don’t go up a league and think you will win every game but we didn’t come up thinking we were going to struggle.
“We are a good team. We have a good squad and we are very well organised. There is a lot of honesty in the team and when you get that you do well.
“We don’t compare ourselves with anyone else. We are Burton Albion and we go about our job.
“You ask the Gaffer and he will tell you that he looks to win every game. But he won’t have a target. He won’t ask us to aim for the top 10 or top six, he just wants to win the next game and more importantly wants us to perform well. There are games when we have lost points and he’s happy and there are games when we have won and he’s not happy.”
