ALL EYES ON WALSALL TONIGHT

26 April 2016

BREWERS fans will be keeping a close watch tonight as Albion's main promotion rivals play their game in hand.

Walsall could move to within three points of the Brewers if they can beat Shrewsbury - but defeat will leave Albion needing just one more point to secure promotion to the Championship.

Walsall boss Jon Whitney is calling for a reaction from his players after their 4-0 thrashing at Bradford on Saturday which, coupled with the Brewers 3-0 win at Colchester, saw a significant shift in the promotion race in Albion's favour.

Witney called for his players to show they are 'ready for the fight' against a Shrewsbury side battling to avoid relegation.

The result of tonight's game will determine whether the Brewers can be promoted on Saturday.

Albion face Gillingham, with tickets selling quickly for the last home game of the season in what could turn out to be one of the most significant games in the club's history.
