FANS URGED TO TURN OUT IN FORCE FOR DOUBLE HEADER OF HOME GAMES

12 April 2016

NIGEL Clough’s Burton Albion face a double header of home games that could play a key part in the promotion push - and fans are being urged to turn out in force.

Albion take on play-off chasing Barnsley on Saturday, knowing that a win will keep the Brewers firmly in the automatic promotion places.

Then, on Tuesday night, league leaders Wigan arrive at the Pirelli for what could be the most important game of the season.

Wigan have already sold out their allocation of tickets and there are only a handful of seats left for home fans.

With the game designated a priority fixture, there will be no cash on the turnstiles and Brewers fans are urged to buy in advance and ensure they are there to support their team

Club captain John Mousinho says that the support of Brewers fans is vital for the team against both Barnsley and Wigan and is hoping the Pirelli will be packed with home fans.

He says: “This team has come a long way in a short time and our supporters have played a  big part in that. It’s your support that drives us on when we are trying to secure another win at the Pirelli Stadium. Your support matters at each and every game.”
