BURTON Albion are without a win in four but could get back on track for promotion tomorrow as they host Barnsley at the Pirelli Stadium.

It’s a game that kicks off a big week for the Brewers who then host league-leaders Wigan Athletic on Tuesday night.

Albion goalkeeper Jon McLaughlin knows just how important three points will be in tomorrow’s game, he said: "Everyone is fully aware of just how important three points are and I think it's only natural that players and teams start to get a little bit twitchy.”

With just five games to go places are proving to be tight at the top of the table with Wigan, Burton, Bradford, Walsall and Gillingham all battling for just two automatic spaces.

McLaughlin said: "This is when you really get down to business and games take on that little extra bit of impetus.

"We've said all along that it was never going to be easy or simple.

“Every time we play it's going to be a difficult fixture and we're not just hoping to say the right things and it'll be a doddle and we'll get three points.

"We were expecting a tough time with our run-in and unfortunately, at the moment, that's ringing true and it's proving to be quite tough."
