MANAGER'S VERDICT: BURY

2 April 2016

NIGEL Clough hailed an "incredible point" as the Brewers scored a last gasp equaliser against Bury.

The Brewers boss said: "It feels like a win. We felt like we should have had a win over the course of the game and up until the sending off we pressed, created chances but one wouldn't drop for us. It seemed we would get nothing from the game until the last few moments.

"It was an incredible point in the circumstances and it could be a very important one.

"There are all sorts of reasons why it is an important goal and the fact that we gained a point on Walsall is one of those reasons. We have actually probably strengthened our position.

"The team spirit was epitomised by the last few minutes because Bury could have made it 2-0  or 3-0 - Jon McLaughlin kept us in the game with some very important saves.

"We then kept plugging away, tried everything in terms of formations and it has taken a gold old fashioned piece of wing play from Lucas Akins and Tyler Walker is in there where all good strikers should be tapping it in."
