BREWERS STRIKER EXPECTING TOUGH TEST AGAINST BURY

9 August 2016

STUART Beavon, who picked up a knock on Friday in training on his groin is fully fit after playing 25 minutes against Nottingham Forest on Saturday said:

“Every time we play against Bury, it’s a very tough game. We know that it will be a scrap against them, last season we played against them twice took four points from us.

“The players would like a cup run as the more games you win, the more momentum it provides for the whole side.

“We go into every game wanting to win whether it’s cup or league so we are sure to be up for the game come tomorrow evening.

“We have spoken about how important home form is going to be throughout the whole season, with our ground being one of the smallest some of the bigger sides won’t be used to the smaller pitch in the league. That is something we need to take advantage of and start our games well starting with Bury.”
