BURTON ALBION QUARTET HEAD OUT TO INTERNATIONAL DUTY

FOUR Burton Albion players will be representing their countries in the coming days.

Tom Flanagan, Jamie Ward, Jackson Irvine and Lee Williamson have all been called up to represent their national sides.

Defender Tom Flanagan has been called up to the Northern Ireland squad for the first time as they take on Czech Republic this Sunday, 4 September.

Record signing Jackson Irvine has, once again, been called up to The Socceroos as he prepares to face Iraq on Thursday 1 September and the UAE on Tuesday 6 September.

Midfielder Lee Williamson has been called upon to wear the shirt of Jamaica, whereby he will face Panama and Haiti in his two games on Friday night and Tuesday night (EST) respectively.

New signing Jamie Ward has been included in the same squad as Tom Flanagan, and will be in line to face Czech Republic on Sunday.
