MANAGER PROVIDES INJURY UPDATE

1 August 2016

NIGEL Clough remains hopeful that he will have a fully fit squad for Nottingham Forest despite a few knocks:

“Nobody is out of the Forest game at the minute, we are hopeful to get most of the lads out on the training field this week.

“Chris O’Grady felt his groin in the warm up against Chester and we didn’t feel the need to risk him with just 7 days to go till the season.

“Tom Flanagan took an accidental challenge; they took him to hospital to look him over. He’s fine he was taken to hospital but was up and talking so he should be alright.

“Lee Williamson is coming on ok, he had a scan last week which showed no significant damage, he has a lot of bruising but we are hopeful that he will be ok for Saturday.

“Tom Naylor his hamstring tightened up after the QPR game and we are hopeful he will join in training early this week.

“Callum Reilly got a dead leg about a week or so a go, it keeps swelling up and he needs a few days of rest with it really.

“Calum Butcher got a tight calf after the Gresley game too but he should be ok.

“Kyle McFadzean has been struggling a bit with a cold all week so we brought him off to give him a bit of rest.”
