THE Manager’s Evening scheduled for August 18 has been called off due to the high-profile EFL cup match with Liverpool and the prospect of two-sell out fixtures inside a week.

A panel led by Nigel Clough and Ben Robinson was due to take fans’ questions at the Pirelli Stadium event but following Albion’s success in the EFL Cup the event has been cancelled.

The Brewers now take on Liverpool and Derby County in quick succession in the following week and the club and management team need to focus on two important games.

Commercial director Fleur Robinson said: “We are sorry to disappoint fans who have already bought tickets but I hope they understand the high profile nature of the EFL Cup tie. We will be hosting other events through the season for fans to look forward to.”

Ticket holders from the event will receive a full refund.

Tickets need to be returned in person to the club shop and the refund will be in cash if originally bought in cash or via a refund if paid for by card. Please allow seven to 10 days for the refund to be processed through your card account.
