NIGEL Clough said the three points against Sheffield Wednesday were thoroughly deserved.
Speaking after the 3-1 victory the Brewers boss said: "The result has been coming for the last 10 days as we should have had something against Forest and should have beaten Bristol on Saturday."From the first minute tonight we set about the task the right way and created chances all through the game and deserved the victory.
"It takes hard work, endeavour and courage as well when you have lost your first two games to go out and play like that.
"We have set the standard in the first three games and it's important for the players to keep that belief and then we will get points like we did tonight."
