BURTON Albion's main stand will be re-named the Carling Stand after the club agreed a new sponsorship deal with Molson Coors.
The Burton-based Brewer will also be the drinks supplier for the bars and hospitality areas at the Pirelli Stadium.
Burton Albion play in the EFL Championship for the first time in the club's 66-year history this season and chairman Ben Robinson is delighted to have signed the deal with Molson Coors at this key time in the club's development.
He said: "We are very pleased that Molson Coors has agreed to sponsor our main stand for what is a very exciting season for everyone connected with Burton Albion. Brewing has put Burton on the map for a very long time and we hope the Brewers are also playing an important part in promoting the town as well. This sponsorship reflects how important both the club and the brewing industry are to Burton.
“Molson Coors will also be the drinks suppliers for our bars and hospitality areas in the stadium as well as sponsoring what will now be the Carling Stand - so we will be serving world famous beer brands with a proud Burton heritage. I look forward to us working together over the course of Burton Albion's first season in the Championship."

The sponsorship agreement follows the news that Carling, one of Molson Coors’ core UK brands, signed a partnership with the English Premier League, as the league’s official beer partner earlier this summer.
