BURTON got back to winning ways last time with an important win against bottom club Rotherham and head into the weekend full of confidence against a struggling Brentford.

The Brewers got a much-needed three points at the Pirelli Stadium, thanks to an inspired performance by Jackson Irvine, and moved clear of the dropzone – much to the delight of Nigel Clough.

Another victory will see Burton climb above Saturday’s opponents and claw themselves further away from an end-of-season relegation scrap.

Matty Palmer’s recent form has been pleasing and the energetic midfielder scored a goal of real quality against managerless Rotherham.

And they face a team in disarray at present, with Brentford losing their last four games and slipping further down the table.

They started the season well under Dean Smith but one win in their previous nine has fans panicking as we head into an important part of the Championship campaign.

But The Bees have one of the league’s most deadly strikers in Scott Hogan, who has already netted 11 goals so far and is catching the eye of some Premier League sides.

The 24-year-old is just two behind Championship topscorer Dwight Gayle and is one to keep an eye at Griffin Park.

The experience and pace of Lloyd Dyer has proven to be an important player for Clough during Burton’s away trips this season.

The former Leicester man will be pivotal going forward on Saturday and is the player needed to drive The Brewers forward on the counter.

You back Lloyd to score anytime at 2/1.
