BURTON Albion will now face Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarter-final of the Birmingham Senior Cup at the Pirelli Stadium.
The Brewers eased past Hednesford Town in the second round after a 7-1 victory at Keys Park tonight thanks to goals from Stuart Beavon, Joe Sbarra (3), Tom Flanagan and Marcus Dinanga (2).Wolves have reached the quarter-final after beating Romulus 5-0 in the first round before putting three past Rugby Town in the second round.
Burton Albion and Wolverhampton Wanderers have already faced each other this season, in the Sky Bet Championship when Will Miller grabbed a late equaliser to pick up a valuable point in a 1-1 draw.
The two sides have also met in a pre-season friendly back in 2015 when Wolves ran away with a 1-0 victory at the Pirelli.
