BURTON Albion have been handed a difficult away draw at Premier League Watford in the FA Cup Third Round.

Brewers boss Nigel Clough said: "It's a Premier League Club away and that will be good experience for everybody. We will be able to test ourselves against them.

"For our supporters, who are enjoying going to Championship clubs this season, they are able to go to a Premier League club now."

Watford are currently in 11th place in the table with 18 points from 14 games.

Clough added: "The FA Cup never loses its magic for supporters so we will do our best to get a result and bring them back to the Pirelli if we can't get through.

"As the club has never got further than the Fourth Round, it's a big incentive for us to try and get through and equal that club record."

The tie will be played over the weekend of January 6-9.

We will announce ticket details once the date is confirmed.
