IT'S a funny old game for the goalkeeper when you have to pick three out of the net but do nothing at all in between goals.
Jon McLaughlin was a spectator for all three Southend goals as the Shrimpers beat Burton Albion 3-1 at Roots Hall. The Albion stopper said: "We are very disappointed that we've lost that game."
"We came here with a lot of confidence," he added.
"We had a couple of good results coming here and we fully expected to get a result against a team we thought were there for the taking.
"We're very disappointed because we played well for large parts of the game but we didn't start the game anywhere near good enough.
"They had a go at us and that's why we went behind in the game."
