BREWERS skipper John Mousinho says that the whole team deserves credit for Albion’s 15 League One clean sheets this season.
Albion chalked up another 1-0 victory on Friday, this time against Chesterfield.
Mousinho said: “Credit to the whole side. We really do defend from the front. If you see the work Stuart Beavon does, or whoever else is playing up there, they work hard and close the opposition down.
"A lot of times last season, Shane (Cansdell-Sherriff) and I were spectators at the back.
"This season there have been games where we have had to dig and defend more than we would have liked to but even then, as centre halves, a lot of credit goes to the boys in front of us and the two full backs as well from keeping the balls out of the box.
“As centre halves you can come out of a game having won headers and tackles but we will be much more pleased if it doesn’t come to that. If you keep your shape, stay solid, it’s difficult to break down any XI. You work hard and make sure they can’t get in between you. That has what has made this side successful.”
