DARIUS CHARLES is still out with a hamstring injury but has been training with the squad for a week or so now.

SHANE CANSDELL-SHERRIFF will be touch and go for Monday's trip to Southend with a groin injury.

LUCAS AKINS should be fit for the Southend trip after he missed out against Chesterfield on Friday night.

Ben Coker

Ben Coker joined Blues following a successful trial, and then signed a new two-year deal later in the season.

Following a successful trial during pre-season, Ben Coker signed a contract with Blues on 16th July 2013.

Ben began his career at Histon before moving to Bury Town in 2008. He spent two years with the non-league side before joining Colchester United in 2010.

In total, Ben made 45 appearances for Colchester during three seasons at the club, scoring once in the FA Cup.

Having featured just twice in 2012/13 for the U’s, Ben’s contract was terminated by mutual consent.

He re-joined Histon until the end of the season before joining Blues on trial and earning a permanent contract.

Coker's impressive performances were rewarded with a new two-year contract, taking him up until 2016.

STUART BEAVON is Albion's top scorer this season, he is on 6 goals after scoring the second at Coventry City in a 2-0 win. LUCAS AKINS is following just behind as he sits on 5 goals for the season, his most recent coming at Rochdale on Saturday.

DAVID MOONEY is Southend's leading goal scorer as he sits on 6 goals for the season. JACK PAYNE is the next highest on 4 goals.

Nigel Clough:

"They are another team who got promoted last season and the lads will know them from playing against them the last couple of years. They are especially difficult down there and it’s a night match as well.

“It’s a tight ground and they put you under pressure. It’s one of those old grounds where you feel the crowd’s on top of you and we have to deal with that as well.

“We didn’t want them to lose in mid-week as they will go onto the game even more determined to get something from it.”

Stuart Beavon:

"We know what to expect from them.

"They are going to be tough and they will get at us but it’s up to us to play the way we are and just keep going and working hard to try and get more points on the board.

"Football is football, it doesn't matter where we are playing.

"Both of us coming up, we played at the Pirelli and there has been some red cards but I try not to think about that too much.

"I just go out there and try to win the game.

"We are going to go there and it will be tough, we know that but it’s up to us to make sure we don’t get drawn into anything."
