BREWERS players Sam Austin and Marcus Harness have dropped in on the next crop of aspiring young footballers to give them an insight into life with the first team.
Sam and Marcus are both products of Burton Albion Academy who have gone onto to make their first team debuts for Burton Albion.
Sam and Marcus completed the League Football Education programme which was delivered by Burton and South Derbyshire College. Â Now they have gone back to class to give the youngsters looking to follow in their footsteps some important tips.
The players explained how a typical week of training was under manager Nigel Clough and how their skills had progressed.
Working hard and staying focussed on your goals was important to both young players as they have made progress at the club and earned their professional contracts.
After a question and answer session the two players took time out to test their soccer skills against the next batch of young hopefuls.
Marcus and Sam showed off their abilities in keeping up the football and being able to plant a shot right on the crossbar before inviting challengers to better their efforts.
