CLOUGH'S STYLE HAS BEEN "REALLY GOOD" SAYS STUART BEAVON

14 January 2016

BREWERS boss Nigel Clough has been in charge of Burton Albion for just over a month now and hasn't lost a game during that time.

The players had to adapt to a change of management at the same time last year when Gary Rowett left the Albion and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink took over.

They do say 'never go back' but that didn't stop Nigel Clough returning to the Pirelli Stadium and striker Stuart Beavon admits that the new manager's style has "been really good."

He added: "He has kept things the same as much as we can, it's really enjoyable.

"Everyone is enjoying it and we all just want to keep going.

"Everyone has their own ways of doing things but the gaffer has come in and wanted to keep things the same.

Clough and Garner were both strikers themselves back in their playing days, a little something that Stuart Beavon says is helping with his development.

"With them being forwards themselves, they are getting on at me to shoot more.

"In terms of not scoring for a while, that can have an effect sometimes but you just have to keep going and know one will go in soon."
