Clough said: "I think we were outstanding in that department having Shane (Cansdell-Sherriff) back in the team with a nice solid back four, we got the early goal."We had a couple little scares but we didn't look like relinquishing the lead."
On the early goal, Nigel Clough said: "We worked it well down the side.
"Any goal that results in a tap in is a well worked goal.
"Tom Naylor arrived down the side at the right time and tapped it in.
"The only disappointment before half time was that we only scored one goal."
