SKY TV presenter Jeff Stelling will be visiting the Pirelli Stadium on an epic charity walk in March and Brewers supporters are being invited to join him.

Teaming up with leading men’s health organisation Prostate Cancer UK, the long-standing Soccer Saturday host will complete 10-walking marathons in 10 days, from boyhood club Hartlepool United to Wembley between March 21-30.

Clocking in at more than 250 miles, Jeff’s Men United March - - will see the 60-year-old check in at 31 football clubs.

On Friday, March 25, Jeff will walk from Derby County to Burton Albion arriving at the Pirelli Stadium just after 12.30pm

Burton Albion media officer Nigel Powlson and Burton Mail Brewers reporter Ash Wilkinson will be raising cash for Prostate Cancer UK by joining Jeff on this leg of the walk and Albion fans can also sign up.

Places are limited and numbers will be kept relatively low, to keep the event safe and secure and keep the walking team as close together as possible.

But as an incentive to sign up, Burton Albion is offering the ten charity walkers who raise the most cash on this leg of the walk matchday hospitality for the Oldham game - now scheduled for Saturday, March 26

For those considering joining Jeff on Good Friday, registration/breakfast will be at 7am. The walk starts from the iPro Stadium (Derby County) at 8am sharp.

You’ll need to be able to keep up a good walking pace (3mph) for the morning, and we’ll ask you to pledge a minimum of £100 in fundraising to help the fight against prostate cancer.

Of course we’re hoping some people will raise a lot more, with donations from friends, family and colleagues.  You will receive a link that will enable you to set up your personal Just Giving page as part of Jeff’s fundraising campaign.

You’ll benefit from a walkers' breakfast at the start, refreshments and lunch along the route, medical support and joining Jeff in the official photo of the day.

To confirm your registration, please go to this link -  - registration fee is £20 each to cover basic costs of the day.  Please register as soon as you can while places are still available.

The hospitality prizes will be offered to the 10 registered walkers who 10 days before the event have raised the most cash on their Just Giving page. Winners will be notified of the offer by email.

Note – if two or more people share a Just Giving page we will pro-rata the amount accordingly – eg: three people sharing a page raising £900 would be treated as £300 each.
