BREWERS skipper John Mousinho says the 2-0 victory over Kidderminster was a 'really good' workout and was impressed by the opposition.
He said: "It was a really good work out."I think we're all glad it was an evening game but it was a good workout against a good side and I thought they tested us for the whole 90 minutes sop thankfully we put in a fairly good performance but more importantly coming away getting a bit of fitness under our belts and a bit more football."
He added: "It's always nice if you can win games but I don't think that's the most important thing.
"We have got a bit more of a feel for the new players that have come in.
"The squad is looking a bit different now than what it did to our first pre-season game against Leek Town."Â
Burton Albion will now travel down south and prepare for a pre-season friendly against Exeter on Friday.
