BURTON roof tile manufacturer Russell Roof Tiles will be sponsoring Burton Albion’s East Stand as the Brewers play in the Sky Bet Championship for the first time in the club’s history.
The East Stand hosts the travelling fans, who are expected to visit the Pirelli Stadium in even larger numbers this season.
Visiting supporters from Derby County, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest will be among those using the Russell Roof Tiles Stand.
Burton Albion commercial director Fleur Robinson said: “We are expecting a fabulous atmosphere at every game this season, especially as there will be a large contingent of travelling supporters at every fixture.
“I’m sure the Russell Roof Tiles Stand will be packed every match with fans cheering on their team, just as the home stands will be full of Albion supporters getting right behind Nigel Clough’s team.
“Playing Championship football has generated a lot of commercial opportunities and I’m delighted that Russell Roof Tiles will be sponsoring the East Stand and joining us for what will be an exciting new chapter in Burton Albion’s history.”
Russell Roof Tiles has two award-winning sites, covering a total of 11 acres (on Nicolson Way and Wetmore Lane in Burton) and manufactures concrete roof tiles and accessories used on homes across the UK.
