BURTON Albion Football Club is inviting business partners to join forces and maximise their potential by association with the powerful brand of a Championship football team.
In the 2016/17 season, Burton Albion will be playing in the one of the five best attended football leagues in the world, bringing an unparalleled level of exposure to the club and town.
Through Club Albion, businesses are being invited to link with Burton Albion in a new venture that will enable firms to benefit from the opportunities generated from having a high-profile football club in Burton.
The aim of Club Albion is to bring together a family of businesses under one banner. Club Albion will help firms to leverage the buying power of Burton Albion’s growing fanbase which will enable partner businesses to increase customer numbers and net sales. The first business to sign up is Lifestyle Accounting, based on Wetmore Road and run by husband and wife team David and Louise Munro.
David said: “It’s a great opportunity to link up not only with local businesses but also our local football team. Our business is 10 years old and I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate that than by linking up with Burton Albion.
“I’m a football fan and always get to games when I can. This gives me the opportunity to mix business and football and hopefully we can be successful together.”
Companies joining Club Albion can use branding on letterheads, general stationery, brochures, flyers, business cards, direct mail, shop signage and on vans and cars.
