ROBBIE Weir has joined League Two side Leyton Orient after his contract expired with the Brewers.
The 27-year-old will sign a two-year deal and will link up with Andy Hessenthaler who was recently appointed Orient boss on a full-time-basis after a successful stint as caretaker manager.
Weir joined the Brewers in May 2012 and made over 150 appearances scoring nine goals and played a key part in Albion’s back-to-back promotions.
Robbie Weir said: “It was good at Burton Albion. I had some fantastic times there – being promoted into League One and then into the Championship and I am looking to produce similar things here at Leyton Orient.”
