BURTON Albion winger and joint-top goal scorer Lucas Akins added another goal to his tally as he scored in a 4-0 victory over Port Vale.

It was a great all-round performance from the Brewers with Duffy and Butcher chipping in with the other goals.

"We are delighted with that result, it's exactly what we wanted after another good week's training," said Lucas Akins.

"To come away from home we are delighted with not only the clean sheet but the four goals - It's been coming for a while.

"It's all come together, it's a great result."

He added: "Today is the gaffer's birthday so it's a great gift for him as well."

Albion's record at Vale Park isn't great, in fact they have never won there until today.

Lucas Akins said: "Records are there to be broken I suppose and this team is capable of anything now.

"We have ruined many team's good home records and dealt with them accordingly."
