LUCAS Akins has praised Burton Albion’s joint-leading goal scorer Stuart Beavon for his hard work and persistence over the season.
Beavon, despite scoring against Port Vale, was involved with all four goals which justifies his assist record this season.Albion winger Lucas Akins has praised the 31-year-old striker and admitted that he loves playing alongside him.
He said: “Stuart Beavon epitomises everything that we are, he was involved with all four goals.
“It’s fantastic to play alongside him.
“He didn’t score (against Port Vale) but without him in the team you don’t score the four goals.
“Him leading the line like he does and the back four playing so well, Tom Flanagan has come in for Shane Cansdell-Sherriff who has had a rest and he has been superb.
“It’s a great result all-round.”
