NIGEL CLOUGH'S CREWE ALEXANDRA REACTION

5 March 2016

BREWERS manager was very up-beat and positive about his team's 1-1 draw with Crewe Alexandra.

He said: "It was a good point but it should have been three."

"I thought for the second half and the first when we got the first 15 minutes out of the way it was us pressing and us trying to get the goals," added Clough.

"Jon (McLaughlin) hasn't had much to do.

"We should have worked their goalkeeper a lot more because we had some brilliant situations.

"Ultimately we're lacking that bit of quality in the final third to get us the winner."

The Brewers went down by a goal after 14 minutes but after that, Crewe didn't bring anything else to the game.

Nigel Clough said: "I thought straight away we got back in to the game and we deserved our equaliser.

"When you go 1-0 down in an away game and you come away with a point, it's not a bad result."
