NIGEL CLOUGH'S PRE-BRADFORD THOUGHTS

8 March 2016

BURTON Albion travel to Bradford City tonight in a 7.45PM kick off after the original fixture last year was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

It was only a month or so ago that Burton Albion beat Bradford City 3-1 at the Pirelli Stadium.

Nigel Clough said: “I didn’t think it was a 3-1 game, we were 3-0 up and with only a minute to go, they got a late goal back.

“I don’t think we deserved the 3-0 as the goals came out of nothing.

“It was one of them games that could have gone either way but things went our way on that day.”

Speaking on injuries ahead of the game tonight, Nigel Clough said a few of his players did pick up knocks on Saturday but he has his fingers crossed over their fitness.

“Just a couple of little knocks from Saturday,” said Clough.

Speaking yesterday ahead of today Nigel Clough said: “Mark Duffy took one, Robbie Weir and Damien McCrory took one but they should all train on Monday with a view to being fit.”
