NO EASY GAMES FOR BREWERS SAYS CLOUGH

11 March 2016

NIGEL Clough says there will be no easy games as Albion enter the final stages of the season.

The Brewers remain top of League One as Fleetwood come to the Pirelli Stadium this Saturday.

The Albion boss said: “With the games we have got left I can’t see any easy ones in there.

“There are teams who are down there but will be more confident than teams in the top eight because of the run they are on - and that includes Fleetwood.

“We have to play at our absolute maximum to get results. We can’t cruise through any games at all and that’s why it takes so much out of the players.

“At Crewe we were at our maximum to get a point at Sheffield United we were at full tilt to get a win.

“Some teams who might not have been at full tilt in previous games might have a little bit left.”
.
Does that mean Clough might look to dip into the loan market to strengthen his squad?

“That depends on the next couple of games. We will assess from there. There’s one or two outside the squad still who might also go out and get some games.”
