BURTON ALBION COMMUNITY TRUST RECRUITING FEMALE PLAYERS

12 May 2016

BURTON Albion Community Trust (BACT) are currently recruiting female players aged 16-18 to join next seasons’ further Education eleven a-side football programme.

This is a great opportunity to stay in full time education, train and play like professional athletes. Dedicated UEFA A & B FA licensed coaches supported by highly skilled fitness and medical backroom staff will coach and run the programme, offering a professional insight to the life of a footballer.

Burton Albion Community Trust have built strong partnerships within Education and football development through the variety of programmes it delivers across Burton and the surrounding areas.

Throughout the course staff will Engage, Inspire and Educate students, to set high standards for themselves so that they can exceed their own expectations.

The programme includes six hours of practice per week with a competitive fixture every week. Players will also have the opportunity to gain experience and industry recognized qualifications which could result into employment within sport, American college scholarships or gain a contract with a Women’s Super League team. The programme will include a residential tour to main land Europe, team building away days and work experience.

Burton Albion Community Trust have exciting plans to create a 3G astro turf facility just a stones-throw away from the Pirelli Stadium which will be used as the base for the girls football and education programme.

Take this opportunity to be part of the Burton Albion story and play your part in the next winning team…
