BREWERS keeper Jon McLaughlin says the celebration bus tour was an an 'amazing' experience for the players.

Albion toured the town on Saturday to celebrate promotion to the Championship aboard two open-top buses.

Burtonians turned out in force to cheer Nigel Cough's team.

McLaughlin said: "It was amazing - an incredible feeling when you get to celebrate with all the fans and see how much support they have for you.

"It was amazing at Doncaster to see them all willing us over the line and they played a massive part in it and then to come and see all the fans out at the bus parade was fantastic.

"We didn't know what to expect when they decided to do the tour at short notice. It just shows you that we have managed to attract a lot of fans permanently to this club and this is definitely now their club.

"It's great for the chairman and everybody to see the way the club is growing like it is. It's a terrific feeling to be part of a club and to genuinely feel you are doing something for the fans."
