THE Brewers head into Saturday’s clash against Barnsley aiming to bounce back after suffering a disappointing defeat against Leeds United last weekend.

They’ve got a great record at the Pirelli Stadium, losing just twice, and will be looking towards their more experienced players to put in an improved performance.

In contrast, Barnsley boasts the youngest team in the Championship. The Yorkshire outfit made a strong start to the season under Paul Heckingbottom, but they have struggled of late.

Adam Armstrong, on-loan from Newcastle United, has been a shrewd acquisition and is relishing regular Championship football after shining in League One for Coventry last season.

The England Under-20 international has scored three times since his arrival and is a player to keep an eye on, while Ryan Kent and captain Conor Hourihane are also highly-rated.

Burton, of course, opted for experience during the summer window, bringing in Championship stalwarts Lee Williamson, Lloyd Dyer, Jamie Ward, and Chris O'Grady.

And Nigel Clough will be confident of a performance against out-of-sorts Barnsley, who’ve won just one in last six.

You can back the boys at 27/25 with club sponsor TempoBet.

Jackson Irvine has been an ever-present in the side this term and is fast becoming a fans’ favourite.

The New Zealand international midfielder is available at 15/2 to score first.
