BURTON ALBION COMMUNITY TRUST ARE BACKING MOVEMBER

3 November 2016

TWO members of the Burton Albion Community Trust will be growing their moustaches to raise awareness for men’s health.

Every November, a band of perfectly ordinary men take on the brave task of Movember: growing a moustache for charity in a bid to raise awareness about men’s health - prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health issues such as depression.

Burton Albion Community Trust is backing the campaign with Myles Cooper and Scott Taylor growing their facial hair during November.

Ashley Wilkinson from the Burton Mail is also taking part in the brave task this year.

BACT is proud supporters of this year’s @Movember Foundation UK campaign that aims to Stop Men Dying Too Young. Mo Bro Steve (pictured) knows the score.

He said: “I walked 300,000 steps last Movember, lost a bunch of weight and it really helped me recover from the side effects of my prostate cancer treatment.”
